The GM engineers needed a way to open the metal grate guarding the hidden windshield wipers.  There\u2019s a lever that moves some linkages to open the grate, called the wiper door.  On the right is the GM solution. It consists of eleven parts and cost me $87.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the left is the Bubba solution that was on the car when I got it.
