The center gauge cluster holds the battery, oil pressure, engine temp, and fuel gauges. It also holds the clock. This is yet another project that I did not anticipate. I needed to buy a new cluster, then clean up and transfer all the components of the old cluster to the new cluster. The new cluster cost $450, the clock $280. The whole build\/rebuild ended up taking about 3 hours and costing $800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the old cluster unit. It needs to be cleaned and completely disassembled. Lots of screws! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the final stage of disassembly of the old unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above picture is of the indicator lights for the wiper override and the door ajar warning systems. I had to sand these down, then put an epoxy on them to clean them up and they still don\u2019t look good. These are nearly impossible to find new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
